A design journey that honors the soul of Jaipur—through silhouettes, symbolism, and sartorial storytelling.
Our design process was deeply inspired by Jaipur’s architectural marvels and traditional crafts. We aimed to create uniforms that not only reflected the elegance of the property but also honoured the visual language of the region.
We incorporated elements reminiscent of intricate jaalis (lattice screens) and motifs found in local structures. Drawing from Rajasthan’s renowned block printing techniques, we developed digital prints that pay homage to this art form—modern in execution, yet rooted in tradition.
The colour palette was influenced by the regal hues of the peacock, aligning with ITC Mementos’ emblematic mayur (peacock) theme. This resulted in rich blues and complementary tones that evoke a sense of luxury and cultural depth.
To complete the ensemble, we introduced traditional pagris (turbans), adding an authentic touch that resonates with Rajasthan’s sartorial heritage and ties the entire collection together with meaning and elegance.
This collaboration brought to life a uniform collection that is in harmony with its surroundings — designed to become an extension of the property’s spirit. From traditional motifs that align with Rajasthan’s storied block printing traditions, to an array of colours inspired by the regal hues of India’s national bird, each detail was thoughtfully chosen to echo the region’s cultural richness. The addition of traditional pagris added a ceremonial elegance, grounding the ensemble in heritage while maintaining a refined, contemporary silhouette.
The result is more than a wardrobe—it’s a curated experience. One that mirrors the grandeur of Mementos Jaipur while offering the team a sense of pride and poise in their presentation. For guests, these uniforms subtly enrich the atmosphere, reinforcing the property’s legacy of elegance through every interaction.
